We all pay for our electricity bills at the end of the month, but the municipality doesn’t pay Eskom their share.

This led to Eskom shutting down the municipality’s electricity, which resulted in the infrastructure not having access to the water resources in two towns in Kwazulu Natal.

Pietermaritzburg – Underberg and Himeville were left without water last Monday after miscommunication between the district municipality and Eskom resulted in water cuts.
