What is the Energy Star Program?

Home / Solutions / What is the Energy Star Program?

The Energy Star program is a company in the USA that is an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). These days most of our products have the Energy Star sticker on them. This sticker shows that the product has been tested by the Energy Star Company to see if it can save electricity and help cut down with greenhouse emissions. They use a third party company that tests the units on a daily basis in normal, day to day situations. It’s not just any product that can get the Energy Start sticker on it.

When buying electrical products and appliances have a look for the Energy Star sticker. You can start saving electricity by buying these products. Energy Star uses a program called Energy Efficiency, which helps manufactures find the best solution to design energy efficient products, and having them labelled with the Energy Star sticker.
